Lincoln Park Clean-Up
The Friends of Lincoln Park and the Green Seattle Partnership get together on the first Saturday of each month to save the forest from invasive species. The next gathering will be held on Saturday, October 6th, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm at the kiosk in the parking lot across Fauntleroy Way from Rose Street. Next FCA Business Meeting
The next FCA meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 11, at 7pm in the boardroom of the former Fauntleroy School, just inside the main entrance. All meetings of the board are open to the public. Weekly Kayaking Group, meet at Lincoln Park The weekly kayaking group meets again! This year, meet at Lincoln Park to join in on weekly paddles. It’s not a guided tour nor lesson, but a way to meet other kayakers in the neighborhood. You are responsible for your own gear and your own safety. Parents and students are invited to sign up for tours of Explorer West Middle School. Tours are offered every Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 9:30 am. Families may sign up for a tour by calling Sonia M. Duckworth, Admissions Director, at (206) 935-0495. Accredited by the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools, Explorer West is the only independent middle school in West Seattle. Explorer West is located at 10015 28th Ave SW.
