Kim Petram reports the Fall Festival is on schedule. The Fall Festival will be October 19, 2008, from 2 pm to 6pm. All FCA board members should be prepared to volunteer, either for the FCA table and balloon duty, or other craft stations.

Barbara Startz gave an update on the raccoon problem. Raccoon feces often contain roundworm and great care should be taken when cleaning after raccoon infestations. Tim Burgess responded to the FCA letter, was sympathetic and sent a letter to Seattle Public Health. Public Health is concerned about the increase of the raccoon population in this area and will send informational letters to the community. Animal control sent a representative to check on the feral cats. People feeding feral cats must license the cats, or they can be trapped and removed.

Lynn Olson reports that the annual meeting is scheduled for March 17, 2009. Concern was raised that the local restaurants may have events planned for that day. Lynn will contact the restaurant managers to see if the date should be changed to March 24th. Green and compostable guidelines will be supplied.

Southwest District Council met and discussed the Alaskan Way Viaduct. A presentation will be made at the Fauntleroy Church, Tuesday September 16, 2009. Eight options for replacement will be presented. Everyone is encouraged to attend and leave comments. An alerting e-mail will be sent to all FCA members.

Treasury report sent by email earlier, operating fund is OK so far.

Phil Sweetland reports that the Green Tide (seaweed) was not so bad this year, probably because it was cool and cloudy this August. So, there was no haul out. There will be a test eradication of Yellow Arch Angel, an invasive plant growing behind Fauntleroy church, soon.

There was no Fauntleroy School update.
