care. Action is pending awaiting further announcements by the Seattle School
Board.

the grant application for the Neighborhood Street Fund has been submitted.
The project review will be in September. Bob Callard and Gordon Wiehler will
detail specific traffic issues including traffic and pedestrian safety.

21 and mailing will be October 1st. The newsletter committee will meet to
define guidelines and goals for ads and sponsorships of future newsletters.
An article will be submitted to the West Seattle herald promoting community
associations, and their contributions to their neighborhoods.
Membership Planning and 2008 Proposals General mailings will be made to
the Fauntleroy area to invite greater membership and increase attendance at
business meetings. Vicki Schmitz-Block moved that the future Annual Meetings
and Food Fest be held the third week of March. The motion was seconded and
passed. Membership dues will be annualized from March rather than being
staggered throughout the year. The business triangle building owners are

Ferry Update The executive council meeting will be July 26, at 11:00 at

the early morning runs is disturbing many Fauntleroy residents. Postcards
with contact numbers at the Seattle Police Department and FCA will be
delivered to area residents soon. Many Kitsap peninsula communities are
showing more interest in additional Water Taxis.
Fall Festival Update Kim Petram reports that the Fall Festival
preparations are on schedule.

lot sale to promote membership and address community issues.
